Josh, a student at Maple Park Middle School, was in the recovery room - where he spent most of his days because he was often kicked out of class for being disruptive and disrespectful. The principal came to talk to Josh in the recovery room and ask him why he was getting kicked out of class so often. Josh explained that he had no idea what the teacher was talking about, he was bored and didn't want to be in class so he acted out. The principal asked ICare4Kids to do an eye exam on Josh since the van was there that day. Josh was diagnosed with a severe case of Myopia and received his eyeglasses a few weeks later. Josh is better behaved, is participating in class, and absolutely loves wearing his glasses.
